Bruce Chen

He had a breakout season last year for the Orioles.

I wonder if the addition of Leo Mazzone will improve on that?

Or was there something wrong with Mazzone's coaching back when Chen was a Braves prospect that caused Chen to falter?

    You got to feel bad for Chen. He's played with 6 different teams over the past 6 years. Last year he was finnally able to pitch a full season without being shipped off. He broke through with Atlanta as a starter then went to the pen. He was better in relief, but I think he wanted to become a starter so, he was sent to Philly in the Andy Ashby trade.

    He is still fairly young, too, and he did this in the AL.

    Could he be another Jason Schmidtt, a Braves pitching prospect who got away and did well? :)
