Chris Duffy

I am wary of this trendy pick for inexpensive SB due to his hamstring injury which seemed to linger through January. (Here and here.)

Now he is limited to DH due to a lingering.....shoulder injury from last season?

If I had Duffy, I would get the value generated by the hype about SB potential. Worst case, you get fair value. Likely case, you win the trade by a large margin.

Jim Tracy isn't the least bit concerned about his shoulder rehab and his hamstrings are of zero concern. The DHing is just for these first ST scrimmages. I look at some of the stiffs people are drafting in rounds 19+ and it's crazy that they are leaving Duffy on the table. This guy hit .341 in 126 ABs (not that you should expect that high an average, but a .300 average wouldn't be surprising). It's not like he can only get SBs for you this year.

That Bucs lineup is going to be very solid through the first 5 batters. Bay is a monster.
