Baylor is feeling skipped over in managerial mix - The Boston Globe: "Dan Haren, RHP, Diamondbacks — Scouts from the Yankees, Twins, Nationals, Cardinals, and Tigers all came out to watch his last start, a 9-3 loss to the Yankees in which he went seven innings and allowed six hits and three runs. It will be interesting to see whether the Diamondbacks wind up dealing their best starter and whether anyone will break the bank to get him."
With more guaranteed years of control than Cliff Lee, Dan Haren's value should meet or exceed Lee's. What three months time and decreasing fetches Lee is TBD.
