WR Earl Bennett, Chicago Bears
Why? A pre-season sleeper thanks to being QB Jay Cutler's main target in their Vanderbilt days, Bennett has failed to impress with just 25 receptions in the team's 1st 7 games. With 9 yesterday, he looks like he has earned another chance to be that sleeper. With the fantasy football season nearly over, there is likely no need to rush to add him via a waiver claim.
WR Lance Long, Kansas City Chiefs
Why? Eight receptions in a game for a team who has not had a 2nd WR emerge will always garner attention. However, I believe the recently added Chris Chambers will trump Long on name recognition and a 54-yard TD. I'm attending more closely to the eleven targets Long received and the four Chambers had.

A New RB2
The new RB2 is an old RB1. Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte should no longer be treated at the Top 5 player he was per pre-season ADP. Watching last night's game, I couldn't believe this was the same player the team had last season.
I am going to blame it on a poor offensive line which was unable to keep its QB standing in the final two minutes despite a three-man rush.
Personally, I consider Forte in the same class as Ahmad Bradshaw - an RB2/Flex play every week. In one case, I have him behind Cedric Benson and Ray Rice.
Sell as high if you can get RB1 value.

Matt Forte Or Michael Turner
In a PPR league, the choice of Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte over Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner appeared to be a no-brainer decision. Forte has 63 receptions and the equivalent of 2,345 yards. Turner had the equivalent of 1,800 yards thanks to a mere six receptions. Where Turner enters the debate is his 18 TDs versus Forte's 12.
After the 1st two weeks of the season, this decision doesn't appear as obvious. Forte has yet to score a TD despite 167 equivalent yards (eYd) while Turner has a 100+ yard rushing game with a TD to 185 eYd.
Would you deal Forte for Turner if you could? Despite mounting pressure to do so, I would still prefer Matt Forte.
The addition of TE Tony Gonzalez along with a year of development looks to have caused an exponential leap in the passing game of Atlanta. Forte's five reception Week Two better represents his 2009 than the zero reception Week One that spooked the entire expert community into disregarding six months of off-season rankings.

Fantasy Football: If You Like....
Chicago Bears' QB Jay Cutler, then you must like WR Devin Hester. How can Cutler be productive (3,500+ yards passing) without productive receivers (900+ yards)?
