Last week, Jose Guillen was the first casualty of the spring. His Washer Women's Strain would require surgery and he would be out three months.
Given this occurred at the onset of March, he would have only missed 1/3 of the regular season. Not great but he would return early enough to contribute and the injury would have depressed a $25 draft price into the mid-teens.
Now, he is going to play through the injury. This means he will get hurt during the regular season, go for full-price at the draft and screw whomever drafted him for the greatest period of time.
