ShareThis: "Obviously, we are sensing the proverbial next shoe is about to drop. If it is Adrian Gonzalez (with an outside shot at Miguel Cabrera), which would be a ginormous move by the Red Sox to cap what would be an eye-popping offseason, then what is there not to like? Well, one thing: if one of the players going to San Diego is Jacoby Ellsbury."
Absolutely crazy. This is a firable offense. Ellsbury at 26 is a year younger than the 40-HR Gonzalez.
I can't think the writer thought of this himself. He has to be acting as a mouthpiece for the Red Sox front office in an effort to negotiate via public relations.
