Start Sit Made Easier: Top 10 Pass Defenses

Remember, teams that cannot stop the run often allow few passing yards. So Carolina Panther Steve Smith still has a chance to score a TD this week.

With six teams on bye, the yards allowed by defenses do not carry as much importance unless you have a couple of dead spots on your reserve i.e. an extra defense or kicker thanks to earlier byes by those players.

If that is the case, avoiding Miami Dolphins like Devone Bess or Cleveland Browns like Mohamed Massaquoi or Washington Redskins like...um, the Redskins don't have a #2WR behind Santana Moss, do they?

New this week are the inclusion of the players who would be effected by a good or bad defense - good ones merit "sit" decisions and bad ones merit "start" decisions. By no means do I consider this my actual recommendation. However, I do think it provides more context and that is usually a good thing, right?
