When Indianapolis Colts' WR Regge Wayne was having 1,000+ yard receving years behind Marvin Harrison, he established the expected value of Colts' #2 WR. As a result, fantasy teams are trying to grab the new #2. That led to Anthony Gonzalez becoming a 4th/5th rounder in 2010 drafts despite producing like weekly free agent claim in his 1st two seasons.
When he was injured, the lofty expectations of a Colts #2 passed to Pierre Garcon who proceeded to be all hype. While attention was focused on Garcon, BYU alum Austin Collie has quietly become the more valuable receiver with considerable PPR production over the last two games.
Unfortunately, Gonzalez is expected to return in Week Seven following the Colts bye on Sunday. Despite the production expectations set by Wayne, I wouldn't expect any Colts #2WR to meet them. There just isn't enough difference between the three. nevermind, TE Dallas Clark is taking a signifcant portion of that #2WR production from the TE position.
