Notes from yesterday:
The Orioles recalled Fernando Cabrera from AAA. This is noteworthy for two reasons. First, he isn't that far removed from the label of "future closer", and second, the 2008 Orioles' closer job is an open competition.
Adding Cabrera now could pay-off in a cheap closer come draft time 2008.
