ESPN - Peter Gammons Blog: "Scouts in Arizona are convinced that Gordon Beckham, the eighth pick in this past June's draft out of the University of Georgia, will be the White Sox second baseman by June, as are Chicago's minor league people."
With the lack of power production in the middle infield in the American League, Beckham could be an above-average fantasy 2B.

There's no arguing Beckham could make an impact, but second base was actually a pretty strong position this year in the American League.
Mike -
In terms of value, you're certainly correct. The middle infield offers AVG and SB, but in terms of 20 HR level middle infielders, there is very little in the middle.
