Now that Hunter is off the market, Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star reports:
Outfielder Jose Guillen now becomes the indisputable No. 1 on the Royals’ list of off-season targets following Torii Hunter’s decision late Wednesday to sign with the Los Angeles Angels.
I am having a hard time believing the Royals would want Guillen. The team isn't close to contention and Guillen is going to move the ball much closer.
