The poor Phillies! First they move their #1 starter, Brett Myers, to middle relief, and then, their top power hitter, Ryan Howard, injures his knee. Myers is likely being groomed to close. Howard? Irreplacable.

Mariner's starting pitching left his start last night in the 1st inning with elbow discomfort. When I said Pitching Armageddon was coming, I didn't mean that!

Speaking of which, Indians SP Jeremy Sowers fell from the ranks of the early season elite. Another couple weeks, and things will be back to normal.

The Angels will be recalling a bat following the broken finger of Howie Kendrick. Word is it will be Brandon Wood. He'd be worth an immediate grab. Also get Erick Aybar as he will see increased time at 2B.
