Notes from yesterday:
Brandon Wood went 0-4 with two strikeouts in his major league debut. I'm not surprised and would not be surprised if he didn't do anything in the next couple days. He needs an extended stretch of ABs to produce and to be judged.

Philip Hughes wasn't impressive against a Jays line-up that included Jason Smith, jason phillips and John MacDonald. Worse, he didn't last five innings.

Bartolo Colon had his second consecutive impressive performance post-labrum surgery. Reports have him throwing 95 MPH. If true, then he is going to be a $20+ pitcher this season. Stunning.
