The Mets and Marlins were involved in a pitcher's duel through eight innings. I only saw the final score of 6-2. As a Gregg owner, I worried he pitched in the 5-run 9th. He didn't and he lives to close another day.

Rookie Mark Reynolds went 5-5 and is now hitting .459. If he doesn't take over the uber-utility role from Alberto Callaspo when 3B Chad Tracey returns, my opinions of justice will take a hit.

The Giants performed right on schedule. Matt Cain pitched and the bullpen blew the Win.
