Fantasy Baseball: Who'd You Rather Have
From Sunday August 9th forward, would you rather have Toronto Blue Jays/Whoever claimed him OF Alex Rios of Los Angeles Angels' OF Torri Hunter?

No question, Torri
Even if Hunter is out from another week?
The emergence of the complete LAA offense is the key factor to me. Moving into the playoff run, this offense can compete with anyone and Torii can be a major element. He has the table-setters in front of him and the consequence behind him to be a solid producer. Just wish Vlad was in better shape to play a couple games in the OF to spell Torii but I'm sure Scioscia will find a way to keep him reasonable healthy and on track for October.
Rios holds too much uncertainty. If it is CWS that claims him, he'd have to steal playing time away from Scotty Pods, which I don't think Ozzie would like to do this late in the season. On top of the fact that, Rios may not be the type of hitter to leadoff for that lineup. Maybe Getz moves to that role but again Ozzie is stubborn. I'd bet he'd perfer to stick with the legit lineup he's got. Now if Rios ends up staying in Toronto, it may be a different story. I'd like to see him play with a chip on his shoulder.
Can't really disagree too much. I do think Rios is close to Hunter in comparable fantasy production over the remainder of the season.
After his disappointing 2009, I think Rios will become slightly undervalued in 2010 - essentailly what Torri Hunter is in most fantasy drafts.
