2010 Fantasy Baseball Sleeper

The New York Yankees released 30-year-old right-handed slugger Shelly Duncan. A season after Garrett Jones made himself into a fantasy-relevent OF, Duncan has the chance to do the same.

While I think his right-handed power makes him a perfect fit for the Minnesota Twins, I'd prefer he land on a team with more opportunity.

Too many fantasy baseball managers get discouraged if they had a bad draft. Hey, it happens. Maybe you just messed up your picks. Maybe you weren't available during the live draft and the system autopicked a mediocre team for you. One thing is certain. If you give up before the season has even started, you will lose. However, if you pick yourself up, work the waivers and trades, you put yourself in a position to make the playoffs where anything can happen.

Completely agree. If your draft went wrong, vigilantly scour the waiver wire and you will be able to recover. Don;t be afraid to make 2- and 3- for one deals involving your superstar.
