Joel Guzman

Kemp Might Make Jump From Double A - Los Angeles Times

Joel Guzman is going to be passed-by again so the Dodgers can promote AA OF Matt Kemp?

From almost making the team to being passed-by 5 times already and now another slap?

This is the type of treatment that demoralizes anyone.

Guzman can take lessons from the story of Job, but that is not the typical way to deal with professional athletes.

It is possible.

The Dodgers will certainly need to deal some of their prospects as they do not have enough positions to play them.

If I were Guzman, I'd worry all the players promoted ahead of him would do well and the Dodgers' would then refuse to trade them.

This would effectively block me.

Either guy could be showcased in the minors too, Guzman is better than both Cruz/Either in LF and he would hold his own in the majors. I guess the Dodgers must like Tampa Bay's style of holding future stars in the minors (Upton for one) frustrating them while they play lesser guys.

By showcasing them in the majors, the Dodgers risk both players failing.

And nothing spells the end of prospect status like unsucessful major leaguer.
