Soriano Won't Play -- for Now
Soriano is only hurting himself with his refusal to play the OF. A wiser course would have been to accept it and hire a voodoo doctor to curse Vidro's knee.
Brandon Watson is getting the opportunity to win the CF and lead-off spot. Keep an eye on him.
And most improtant, Matt LeCroy will get the start behind the plate. With Brian Schneider in the WBC, LeCroy will get back into catching shape.
Hopefully, he doesn't get hurt doing it.
